This is one of the main areas in which these two top models differ and it’s also the reason why there’s a large price discrepancy between the two.
The TOTO Neorest NX1 has a sleek, smooth, modern look that is unmatched by any toilet on this planet. It looks as though it might have fallen from some extraterrestrial palace in the stars.

As you can see, all of the main bidet cleaning and convenience functions are shared by both units.
What it really comes down to when deciding between these two are:
- Appearance and design
- Seat space
If you or a family member require more space when sitting, then the Neorest NX1 might be a better option. Of the three less expensive Neorest toilets, the TOTO LS is the largest one. The Neorest AS is the next largest, followed by the Neorest RS.
