Lid stopped working, pressure isn’t great.

Lid stopped working, called in and was told they would attempt to resolve with Manufacturer. Haven’t heard anything since. Should have stuck with Toto.

I'm a happy camper

I'm quite happy with this purchase and the bidet seat works well and has the features I need. I also thought the information that Premier Bidets provided on the Ultra-Nova, as well as all of the other bidet seats, made the process of choosing one easier. In the few months that we have had this, the remote stopped working, but it was quickly and easily replaced under warranty. About the only nit I have is that (as far as I know) there's no way to adjust the sensitivity on the sensor that raises the lid, so it opens and closes whenever walking by the bathroom door or when in the bathroom brushing teeth, etc. Not a big deal at all. Overall, I'm a happy camper and my rear end is quite spoiled.

Good Bidet Seat

Good bidet seat seems to be lacking a couple features that I would expect to see out a top of market seat and those are an easy to access cleaning mode ( I don’t want it closing on me when I’m cleaning the bowl ) or a full manual mode. Additionally there is no calibration on the sensor for the auto lid so it picks stuff up through the door in a small bathroom and goes bananas when someone walks by if left in auto mode. It would be nice if they included bumpers for a wall mount set up as the thin plastic lid sounds real cheap if it hits the flush actuator. Lastly the cord can only exit one side, it’d be nice if it could be internally routed to the other side.

A great bidet!

After using the bidet for several months, we're very happy with it. The water heater is effective, the heated seat is very nice, and we love how little tilt the seat has from the back to the front of the seat.

Ultra-NOVA Bidet Seat Compatibility

When it comes to selecting the right bidet seat for your toilet, understanding the size and shape compatibility is crucial. Toilet bowls come in two primary sizes:

  • round
  • elongated

Round-sized toilets typically measure 16.5 inches in total length, while elongated toilets are slightly larger at 18.5 inches.

If your toilet has a relatively flat bowl that meets the toilet tank at close to a 90-degree angle, the Ultra-Nova should fit seamlessly.

However, if your toilet features a curved tank that meets the bowl on a slope, often referred to as a "french curve" the Ultra-Nova unfortunately will not fit.

You will also want to measure the space in between the holes where you attach your toilet seat. You'll want 5 1/2" of space between them.

Next, make sure there is adequate space between the toilet tank and mounting holes. For the Ultra-NOVA Bidet Seat, you'll want at least 1"

Ultra-NOVA Installation Info

When you're in the market for a bidet seat, it's essential to keep a few key factors in mind:

  • ensuring your toilet is compatible
  • having convenient access to a water source
  • GFCI electrical outlet is within 3 feet of the toilet
  • If you're facing the toilet, the Ultra-NOVA's power cord comes out of the right side of the bidet seat

These considerations will help you make the right choice for your bathroom upgrade

For bidet seats like the Ultra NOVA, an electrical outlet within three feet is required. The Ultra NOVA can be easily installed at home without a plumber by just following the included installation instructions.

While you could opt for a plumber to do the install for you, it's certainly not required.
