12" Rough-In

One important thing to note about TOTO Neorest Integrated Bidet Toilets is that they require at least a 12" rough-in.

There is no adapter option as with other bidet toilet combos like the TOTO Aquia IV Washlet+ S7A Two-Piece, which can be used with a 10" rough-in adapter or 14" rough-in adapter.

When talking about toilets, the "rough-in" is the distance between the wall behind the toilet and the center of the toilet's drain pipe. There needs to be a specific amount of space between these two points.

You'll want to measure from the center of the bolt holding your existing toilet to the ground to the wall behind your toilet.

Most bathrooms have the standard 12" rough- in, but if you live in an older house or building, you may have a 10" or 14" rough-in.

Measure your rough-in and other dimensions to make sure a TOTO Neorest will fit in your bathroom space before ordering. It's important to double-check clearances from the toilet bowl to nearby fixtures like your vanity.

Electrical Requirements

You'll need a 15-AMP, 120-Volt, GFCI outlet within 3 feet so the power cord can reach easily.

For TOTO Neorest Bidet toilets, a dedicated circuit is recommended and must comply with local electrical code regulations.

Floor Water Supply Line

Check each individual product specification sheet for the water supply line requirements for each TOTO Neorest toilet. Ensure the water supply hose connection is compatible with your floor supply valve.

Make sure you or a professional looks at the Neorest product specification sheet, installation guides, and user manuals for the product you're interested in. Pay attention to details such as mounting hole alignment, the bracket installation, and how to properly tighten connection points with the provided screws.

Before completing installation, check for leaks at all water connections and tighten as needed to prevent leaks.
