The Toto G5A was the best option for a full featured bidet toilet. My partner and I had been keeping an eye out for a complete toilet and bidet that offered all the adjustments and features of the toilets we loved during travel in Japan, along with a smooth-sided configuration for easier cleaning and a sleek look.
We'd given up on that happening after seeing some of the pricing for these toilets, but found the Toto G5A while researching what options we might have to replace our main bathroom toilet when it's old Mansfield-style float broke.
The G5A does everything we could want at a price that we could stomach. On top of all the bidet control options, I love the low water use, automatic functions, night light, sanitizing electrolyzed water (EWATER+), bowl premist, and ozone deodorizing.
Some other reviews and comments elsewhere complain about this unit having plastic panels. I'm generally picky about design and colors, but the plastic is well color matched and blends well with our bathroom.
Our cats have played with our other bidet seats, but one week in, the G5A appears to be resistant to their curiosity and only opens automatically for people.
Premier Bidet's pricing and option to pay using our HSA was another bonus to minimize our total cost, and the sales team was helpful in answering my questions. Delivery is a bit slower than some might expect in the world of next-day Amazon deliveries, but as I expected, came on a pallet from a freight company with tracking available, delivered smoothly and without issue.
