TOTO Auto-Flush Kit THU857 for Washlet S7A/S7 - Single Flush Toilets

Had a small problem with one item but was replaced quickly. Items arrived quickly, well-packaged. Price very good. No complaints!

We installed the THU857 ourselves—it was very easy and works great. We disabled the auto-flush feature (via a button on the back of the remote) because we prefer to flush manually using the new button included with the kit to add to the remote control. This beats using the toilet lever. That said, the default setting is auto-flush if that’s what you want so it flushes when you get up off the seat and no button presses needed. And you can customize the delay to certain times to flush after you get up.

One minor issue: the instructions mention connecting the water feed hose to either a white or black port on the new 857 based on hose length, but there’s only a single black port. We just used that, and everything works fine.

A heads-up: the Toto S7 remote triggered our Simplehuman touch-free soap dispenser — likely due to overlapping infrared frequencies—causing soap to squirt unexpectedly. We replaced it with the Umbra Otto Automatic Touchless soap dispenser, which isn’t quite as sleek but doesn’t react to the remote.

Installs easy and works as expected.
I have the TOTO S7 with a single flush Drake toilet. The S7 was trying to do a light flush when both seats were lifted. Had to call TOTO support to reset the S7 for single flush and all is well.

The steps provided by support were not in a manual that I could find.

Steps to reset S7 for single flush:
1. Hold Front Wash and + for 10 seconds
2. Press - > + > - (flashes twice, 2 long beeps)
3. Hold Front Wash and + for 10 seconds
4. Press Rear Wash > - > Rear Wash (Flashes twice, 2 long beeps = Complete.)

We purchased a TOTO Auto-Flush Kit THU857 for Washlet S7 and S7A - Single Flush Toilets from Premier Bidets. I was looking for a brief explanation on the product and installation. The person who answered the phone was easy to speak with, and provided a detailed explanation of the product being purchased. The service and communication was excellent. I would definitely purchase from them again.

I wrote on March 5, 2025, that the flush button attached to the remote control didn't arrive in the box. To this day, I haven't received a solution. Without the flush button, I can't use the purchased equipment. Mr. Valdez told me they had written to Toto, but I didn't make the purchase from Toto, but from Bidets Premier.
