My first bidet purchase and use experience ever. Works well. I like the adjustable settings and heated seat. It is effective and I use less TP now. I didn't realize you need a different cleaning product for the seat in order to take care of it properly. I believe a pH-neutral cleaner was recommended. I was able to find one at my grocery store and also saw it at Home Depot.
I had a very hard time installing it because my toilet is in a very narrow room and I'm not very "handy" in the first place. Didn't get it quite right in the end and now I have to turn off the water to my toilet any time it's not in use or I will hear it running. No complaints about the Brondell itself, just my own installation. My gift to myself will be to have a plumber come fix it for Christmas.
Premier Bidets does list a "convenient access to a water source" at the end of the product page. I would not have considered my water source to be "inconvenient" until I actually got down on the floor and tried to connect this.
A weird thing happened with my delivery because they use FedEx. I had it delivered to my apartment and I got an email saying it was delivered and signed for by someone not in my household, but it was nowhere to be seen. It did show up 3 days later partially opened, which was kind of unpleasant, because who even opened it? I had been very frustrated in the interim because the support had told me to go ask my neighbors if they received it. Delivering to the apartment package lockers would have been much better than having a stranger sign for it, open it, and decide they didn't want it.
Overall shopping experience was fair to good. The product eventually arrived, I was able to use my FSA/HSA for the purchase, and they were able to price match when I saw the same product somewhere else right after my purchase.
I would recommend this bidet to my friends and family if they were in the market for a bidet.
